Volunteers are an important part of the Race Against Hate. Individual and corporate volunteers help us market the event, prepare for Race Day, and ensure that everything operates smoothly.

Volunteer Options before Race Day

Pass out Marketing Materials (Pick-up marketing materials at YWCA for distribution, including flyers, posters, available now! Lawn signs will be available later in May.)

Race Day (June 16th) Volunteer Options

~~Runners From Registration Tent to Timers Tent~~ CLOSED
~~Pre-Registration Tent: Check-in participants who registered prior to Race Day~~ CLOSED
~~Registration Tent: Register and process participants signing up for the Race~~ CLOSED
Course Marshalls: Cheer on runners and pass out water! (This is best as a group activity)
~~2 cyclists to lead runners through the course~~ CLOSED

Arrival time(s) for volunteers on Race Day are 6:15 AM, 6:30 AM, and/or 7:00 AM depending on the option.
Location: Floyd Long Field (corner of Lincoln Street and Sheridan Road), Evanston, IL.

You will receive a confirmation e-mail confirming your shift and arrival time. Let us know what your preferred task is on Race Day and we will try our best to accommodate your request.
