The Ivy Pearl Foundation, Inc. is proud to be a sponsor for the Ricky Byrdsong Memorial Race Against Hate to commemorate the Foundation’s 25th Anniversary. The Foundation is a 501(c)3 publicly supported organization founded by the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Delta Chi Omega Chapter in 1999. The Foundation since its inception has supported community programs that promote education, economic empowerment, family strengthening and social justice. The Foundation has partnered with other Evanston/North Shore organizations through the years to provide programs and activities that benefit the community. Honoring Ricky Byrdsong’s legacy, we join with others to walk and run in unity against racial hatred and violence and raise funds for YWCA Evanston/North Shore’s programs including their violence prevention and racial equity programs.
