NSOLF is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been dedicated to conserving open space in and around the town of North Salem since 1974. We have successfully conserved more the 1,300 acres of land in perpetuity that is open to the public for passive recreation - such as hiking, bird watching, horseback riding, and much more. The open spaces also provide fresh air, clean watershed and protects critical habitats right here in our community.
The proceeds from this event will finance the stewardship and upkeep needed to maintain the 25 preserves and trails in order to keep them open to the public. In addition, these funds will be used to host several free community events, which include monthly hikes, educational seminars and environmental movie series, among others.
We are asking for your support by donating supplies or by providing a monetary donation. We are anticipating more than one hundred-fifty guests at this event. Please know that your donation, large or small, is greatly appreciated by NSOLF. All contributors will be recognized as sponsors during the event. Any donations may be sent to the address above or we will gladly arrange for them to be picked up.
