Help Saving Grace continue it's wonderful work!

Back in February, I lost my dog, Rumer. For 15 years she was a constant source of joy and love. The love of a pet and for a pet is beyond measurable. The loss of that relationship caused me much grief and sadness. Oh, how I miss her. I never thought in the months after that I would be able to get another dog. After doing much research my heart lead me to a visit to Saving Grace. To me, as soon as I walked into the farm, I was in dog heaven. At Saving Grace I met so many wonderful dogs. It is there that I found our newest family member! He has filled our home with much joy and laughter. He actually loves life so much - his happiness is contagious. I am so thankful to Saving Grace for rescuing Whiskey’s mom, who was pregnant at the time. They take such wonderful care of their dogs. Their care for animals is obvious and I am proud to have adopted from them and support them. Please consider making a donation of any amount to my fundraiser. Wake county has given them a deadline of the end of 2019 to make required repairs and upgrades. In order to be able to do that they are asking for donations. Some history about them and their success of saving so many lives is below. Thank you for your consideration.

Saving Grace has taken in and successfully found homes for more than 20,000 dogs since 2004.  2018 brought 2,400 dogs to their furever homes and 2019 is on track to match more than 2900 dogs with their families. While completing the lifesaving work of rescue, Saving Grace has also been hard at work planning and completing much-needed improvements at the farm. While we have successfully completed many of these projects, we have several that have become urgent and need funding.

IN ORDER TO CONTINUE operating in any capacity Saving Grace is also required to bring our current space up to county standards including: handicapped and emergency vehicle accessibility, relocating adoption areas and housing for puppies and small dogs, extensive solid fencing and landscape screening, and parking lot modifications/adjustments. These changes must be completed by the end of 2019.
