After I bought my first home, and was living alone for the first time in my life, I was lonely. I enjoy having a roommate, and my house didn't feel like a home....until I adopted Champ. Adopting Champ was the best decision i've ever made. I adopted him from Saving Grace. Saving Grace is an amazing place where I know coworkers and friends have also adopted dogs from. I showed up on a Monday night to see SG for the first time and lights were hung on the trees, a bunch of bonfires were going, and there were happy dogs EVERYWHERE who wanted to say hello and bring a smile to my face. I hung out for around an hour even after I had found Champ (George at the time) just because I enjoyed being there. I wish SG had a beer garden, so i could grab a drink and hang out with all the pups for a couple hours. I love this place, and i'd love if you could help me save, Saving Grace.
Why I'm Raising Money for Saving Grace
Saving Grace has taken in and successfully found homes for more than 20,000 dogs since 2004. 2018 brought 2,400 dogs to their furever homes and 2019 is on track to match more than 2900 dogs with their families. While completing the lifesaving work of resuce, Saving Grace has also been hard at work planning and completing much needed improvements at the farm. While we have successfully completed many of these projects, we have several that have become urgent and need funding.
IN ORDER TO CONTINUE operating in any capacity Saving Grace is also required to bring our current space up to county standards including: handicapped and emergency vehicle accessibility, relocating adoption areas and housing for puppies and small dogs, extensive solid fencing and landscape screening, and parking lot modifications/adjustments. These changes must be complete by the end of 2019.
