I’m Raisin' & Ridin' for Phoenix Bikes  !

I’m riding on August 1st for Phoenix Bikes’ Raisin’ Ride, and this year I’m also co-captaining Team Raisin’ Dough.

I’d love your support!

Phoenix Bikes is one of the places I keep saying yes to because I get to see what happens there up close.

The pictures on this page are a little glimpse of that: races, rides, shop time, youth, staff, bikes, chaos, confidence, and community.

Phoenix Bikes starts with bikes, but it does not stop there. Youth build and earn their own bikes. They learn how to use tools, solve problems, teach each other, lead, volunteer, ride, and show up as part of a community.

I see it on the race team, too. By the end of a season, youth who were once hanging back are setting up the tent, getting registered, loading the van, helping newer riders, and taking ownership. That does not happen by accident. It happens because Phoenix Bikes gives youth the space, trust, support, and expectations to grow.

Right now, Phoenix Bikes is also planning for what comes next: keeping programs free, reaching more youth, creating more internship and work experience opportunities, and making sure there is enough staff and space to support the demand.

That last part matters. Phoenix Bikes can keep youth programming free only because donors like you help cover the real cost of making these programs happen.
