For four months in the summer of 2009, we were fortunate to stay at the Ronald McDonald House while our daughter Abby was in the GHS NICU. Abby was born extremely premature at 24 weeks, and the RMH gave us a chance to spend as much time as possible by her side or return to the hospital quickly if her condition changed.
After 127 days of fighting so hard to get better, our little girl passed away. Our world changed, but we also felt incredibly blessed to have the time with her that we did. That would not have been possible without the Ronald McDonald House, along with the tireless efforts of the GHS NICU staff.
To give back, and in Abby's memory, we're happy to be a part of the "Wear Your Stripes" campaign. Funds raised will assist RMH families in need due to their medical bills. Would you consider giving? No donation is too small.
