Next weekend I’m participating in the Callen-Lorde Community Health Center Rainbow Run.

Callen-Lorde has been part of my life for decades. As someone living with HIV, I’ve been a patient there for years—and I can honestly say the care, compassion, and support I’ve received has been life-changing.

From my doctor to the entire staff, they’ve always treated me with dignity, respect, and real understanding. That’s not something you take for granted.

So while this may be a “fun run” (and yes… I may be jogging… or walking ?), it means a lot more than that to me.

I’m raising money to support the incredible work they do for the LGBTQ+ community—providing accessible, affirming healthcare to people who truly need it.
