Open Finance is an organization of LGBTQ+ financial professionals and their allies. Our goal is to help financial professionals advance their careers. We also partner with nonprofits to assist them in achieving their mission. On May 9 we will be running in the Rainbow Run to raise funds for Callen-Lorde so that they can provide Healthcare services to LGBTQ+ people and anyone regardless of their ability to pay. Businesses have come a long way regarding the type of health insurance that they provide to LGBTQ+ employees. There are now businesses who provide health insurance that covers transgender care, AIDS/HIV medication and other services. But many people still do not have access to these type of Healthcare services. Callen-Lorde provides this need for these types of individuals. We are running to provide Healthcare access to people who do not have it.
