20 Liters makes dirty water clean by assembling water filters locally in Grandville, MI, and then sending them to the most vulnerable in Rwanda. Our shipping container (containering enough filters to benefit 50,000 people with clean water for 10+ years) will travel 7,600 miles to reach Kigali Rwanda in early 2026. We need your help to get it there!
Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to join our team and start tracking your miles (running, walking, biking...it's all good!). Our hope is collectively to run/walk/bike 7,600 miles by October 19. Share this mission and progress with your friends and family and get them to support your efforts. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to cover shipping for all the filters in early 2026.
For those who choose, our training will culminate on October 19 at the Grand Rapids Marathon. Run with us in the 5k, 10, half marathon, or full. It's your choice. Not local to West Michigan? Find a local race and have a ball. If you're a biker...make your miles count for clean water with us as well. We have a lot of ground to cover! There are plenty of races you can train for as well.
