Our family is once again raising money for Inclusion Matters by Shane's Inspiration, a nonprofit close to our hearts that creates inclusive playgrounds and programs for children of all abilities—including some right here in Colorado. We're doing this in honor of our son Spencer, who spent so many happy hours on these playgrounds when he was younger. They gave him a place to play, connect, and simply belong—and this is our way of giving back and helping other families find that same gift. On September 27, we'll be taking part in Once Upon a Run, Walk & Roll. Every step is a small part of a much bigger story—one where every child has a place to play and a place to belong.
