As a special education teacher, inclusion is something I care deeply about and work toward every day. I see firsthand how important it is for every child to have a place where they feel welcomed, included, and able to fully participate. On September 27, I’ll be participating in Once Upon a Run, Walk & Roll at Griffith Park to support Inclusion Matters by Shane’s Inspiration. This incredible organization creates inclusive playgrounds and programs where children of all abilities can play, connect, and belong together.
