Hi everyone! I will participate in my very FIRST Polar Plunge® Chicago for Special Olympics Illinois on Sunday, March 1st. I am so excited to jump and splash my way into Lake Michigan with my mom and some of my teachers.
I've been involved in Special Olympics since I was 8 (I'm now 11). I have so much fun taking field trips to various sporting events especially basketball and bowling; sometimes we compete, other times we practice and learn new skills. I also get to particpate in the spring games every year. It's a three day event where I compete in the long jump and track and field (we practice these sports at school).
