Making Strides for Special Kids 2020

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for the Making Strides for Special Kids 5K Run/Walk!

As many of you may know I was the Prinicpal of Laremont School and am now participating on the SEDOL Foundation Board because I believe in what this organization is doing for kids. I have seen first hand the hard work and dedication that the staff put in to serving these most extraordinary kids. After retiring, joining the SEDOL foundation board was a logical step so that I can continue to contribute.

I’m participating in this event to raise funds for Special Education District of Lake County (SEDOL), a cooperative educational system working with school districts throughout the county to serve students who are facing physical, emotional, and other learning challenges. These funds will be used to directly enrich the educational, vocational, and social opportunities for children with disabilities in Lake County. Taking care of the members of our community who are most in need is a responsibility that we all share and one that I am personally committed to.

Donating to SEDOL and supporting my participation in this event is simple, fast, and completely secure, and it is also the most effective way to support my fundraising efforts.
