Making Strides for Special Kids 2020 has gone virtual!
Run or walk or ride anytime and anywhere between
Saturday, September 19 and Sunday, September 27
Like so many other races have done this year, we have moved to a virtual format. This unprecedented global pandemic has affected much more than this event as our students and their families are facing significant challenges this year. Reduced access to school facilities for educational services, specialized learning equipment, and even food have created unmet needs for many students that are nothing short of unimaginable. The needs of SEDOL families in the upcoming year will be greater than they’ve ever been and we need your help more than we ever have.
Please join us for this wonderful event. You can join on your own, or even better, start a team and
recruit your friends. Your power to make a difference in the lives of our special needs children is
unmatched. As a fundraiser and/or team leader you can even designate where your money goes. For
example, you can choose for the funds you raise to go toward adaptive equipment (voice output
devices, adaptive trikes, etc.), class projects such as the backpack program for children whose
families need food on weekends, camp scholarships, emergency funds for families, or a number of
additional specific needs.

Packet Pickup Required - Packet Pickup is on Thursday, September 17 from 12:00 noon - 7:00 p.m. at The Fitness Pursuit, located at 1186 East Washington Street in Grayslake
