6:00-9:00 AM | Option to Meet at Pinkham Notch Visitor Center
HIKE. Start your day at Pinkham Notch, where Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) and Observatory staff will be on hand to help those who choose to hike Mount Washington review the weather forecast and find the perfect trail for your skill level and hiking goals. Whether you’re aiming for the summit or have a lower elevation, we’ve got a route for you! Seek the Peak is any trail, any day! There is no wrong way to participate. Climb with a group, solo hike your favorite loop, or fundraise from afar.
10:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Observatory Weather Station Tours
TOUR the Mount Washington Observatory tower inside the Mount Washington State Park Sherman Adams Summit Building. Get an exclusive look at our high-altitude weather station and experience what it’s like to work at 6,288 feet! No registration required—just drop in any time between 10 AM and 2 PM.
NEW! 1:00-5:30 PM | Wildcat Express Chairlift
RIDE the Wildcat Express Chairlift (participants and Celebration ticket holders only) to the summit of Wildcat and hike down the mountain. Or ride the lift roundtrip. There's a great view of Mount Washington and the Observatory's iconic tower from the Wildcat D observation platform (and you can make an appearance on our Wildcat webcam)! The chairlift will stop running promptly at 5:30 PM.
4:00-7:00 PM | HIKER CELEBRATION at Wildcat Mountain Resort
CELEBRATE your adventure at the epic post-hike party! Enjoy live music, outdoor vendors, a BBQ-style feast, a beer garden, and our legendary gear raffle. Registered hikers can check in, grab their prizes, and soak in the festivities. Not hiking but want to join the fun? No problem! Non-hiking tickets are available for purchase before the event. Go to Register and choose the Non-Hiker Celebration Ticket and don't forget to also get your Non-Hiker Meal Ticket, too!
4:00-6:00 PM | Educational Games for Kids
PLAY and learn with fun, interactive weather-themed games designed for young explorers.
4:30-6:30 PM | Feast at the Après Hike Celebration
REFUEL with a hearty, family-style meal after your big adventure.
4:00-7:00 PM | Beer Garden by Tuckerman Brewing Company
RELAX and raise a glass to an epic day on the trails with a local brew from Tuckerman Brewing. Also featuring beverages by Stowe Cider.
5:00-7:00 PM | Live Music at the Hiker Celebration
VIBE to live tunes as you wrap up an unforgettable weekend with your fellow hikers.
