Garrett Jamison Wimmer came into our family on July 31, 2004 - silently.  Our greatly anticipated first grandchild slipped away only days before we were to meet him.  In the 13 years since this tragedy befell our family we have come to know that stillbirth is not a rare event and is a nondiscriminatory destroyer of dreams.  Textbook perfect pregnancies can and do end in tragedy without warning.  

The work of the Star Legacy Foundation has become our passion with the vision that no other family endure this needless tragedy and that one day stillbirth will truly be a rare event.  Please join us in our efforts to support the good work this organization does to raise awareness, encourage and support research and education, advocate for better research and education and support families.
