Why hogs you ask? Well let me tell ya, a couple of the OG "Hogs":
Trent Marion and Chris Hopkins moved to Chicago back in 2013 just fresh out of the little RedHawk nest that is Miami Uniersity. These young hogs were in their 1st real adult job, doing the daily grind, rising with the sun and just trying to make it big in the Windy City! As a good friend does they'd check in with each other during the work day: "How's our guy?".. this became a staple of their friendship, checking in on each other and showing support for each other. This phrase soon became what we now know today as HOG. Shooting out simply "HOG" was their way of checking in with their friends. Trent and Chris brought this term to our circle of friends and at some point we started calling the group of friends: Hogs.
Now team Hogs stands for something very similar, we're raising money for our fellow friends and fellow athletes who haven't had the same fortune to compete as easily. We're banding together as one big group of hogs, checking on our guys and gals in the Special Olympics. Lets raise some dough for our fellow hogs!
