I'm jumping in icy Lake Michigan in the middle of winter with my close college friends for one special little lady: Eileen Grace.  My college friends, Scott and Colleen Schaefers have a beauitful daughter Eileen Grace.  Eileen, full of Grace, constantly shows her family and friends how to overcome adversity with spunk and a smile.   Our Polar Plunge team, Eileen In, is raising funds for The Special Olympics.  Please consider supporting Eileen Grace and Special Olympic athletes.  

Eileen Grace holds a special place in my heart, reminding me of my Aunt Patty.  Aunt Patty lived a full life with down syndrome for over 50 years.  All those who knew her, loved her and laughed with Patty.  If Aunt Patty knew I was jumping in Lake Michigan during winter, she would say with a flick of her wrist, "Oh, brother!"
