Greater Gill-Montague, a Franklin County Rivers Cleanup partner

Our groups clean in multiple eastern Franklin County towns!

Two ways to join our Cleanup:

  1. Register as a Hauler (no truck needed), This team meets at the Montague Transfer Station at 11:30 a.m., collects debris from sites in our area, returns to the transfer station, and places debris in the appropriate spots to ensure safe disposal. Enjoy the thrill of seeing the debris pile up at the end of the day and get a high-level view of how waste is handled to maximize recycling and environmentally sound disposal.  The Hauler team also enjoys lunch sandwiches donated by the Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Gill! Click the Register Here link in the upper right, sign up for a public group, and join the Greater Gill Montague Super Group.
  2. Register as a Site Cleaner, Some folks prefer the classic cleanup experience of going to a site in the morning, bagging debris, and either bring it to the Montague Transfer Station or leaving it on site for pickup by the hauler team. All collecting is completed by noon to allow for afternoon pickup. First choose a site from our Adopt-a-Site map. and note the four-digit site ID#. Then click the Register Here link in the upper right, sign up for a Private Goup as a Group Leader.
