The Flavin family is so excited to celebrate 15 years of Sportable creating opportunities and transforming lives through sport. My husband, Andy, proudly wore the number 15 as a pitcher throughout high school and college. Andy dedicated himself to continually improving at the sport he loved, and he enjoyed the camaraderie and competition. When Sean was born, Andy was careful not to pressure him to love baseball, too, but it was a lost cause. Sean was still in diapers when he was hitting off a tee. This year, on Sportable’s 15th anniversary, Sean started wearing number 15 in honor of his dad in the Chesterfield Little League. Our family is passionate about Sportable’s mission and the incredible achievements of its athlete community. As parents, we are especially honored to support an organization that ensures the accessibility of sports for all children and that recognizes an athlete with limitless potential inside each of us.
