Hi friends! Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. For the past four years I've been involved in volunteering and fundraising for Sportable. I first got involved when I happened upon a Sportable wheelchair tennis clinic at my gym. At the time, I was working in digital accessibility and was very curious. I started volunteering for Power soccer, basically soccer on a basketball court using wheelchairs to pass and shoot the ball. And I was hooked. Since then I have volunteered at umpteen programs and events and joined the Associate Board the following year.

Sportable has over 20 adaptable sports. Athletes from all over the state come to participate in the weekly programs and clinics. For many, this is the only opportunity and place where they can play sports.

As someone who has loved sports all her life, I believe everyone should have access to play. Adaptive equipment is expensive. A power soccer chair can be upwards of $16,000. Sportable does its best to provide this type of equipment but its donors and the help of individuals like you that make it possible for this non profit. 

I appreciate anything you are willing to give and know its going to a great organization.
