Hello everyone! Welcome to my Sportable fundraising page, and thank you for visiting. I have been volunteering with Sportable for the last couple of years, have fallen in love with the organization and its mission, and now serve on the Associate Board. I first got involved with Sportable when they hosted the National Wheelchair Basketball Championships at the Henrico Sports and Events Center for two straight years in 2024 and 2025. Since then, I have also volunteered at the River City Slam wheelchair tennis tournament that Sportable puts on and look forward to volunteering for more programs going forward.

Did you know that Sportable has over 20 different adaptive sports and programs! Athletes from all over Virginia come to participate in weekly clinics and programs that Sportable puts on. This allows these athletes to come together and play the sport they love. 

I have been involved in and around sports all my life and believe everyone should have the opportunity to experience sports and have the chance to fall in love with sports as I have. Adaptive equipment is expensive, and  Sportable does its best to provide this type of equipment, but it's donors and the help of individuals like you that make it possible for this nonprofit.
