Impacting the opportunity gap in the Shoreline School District
Hi friends.
As a trustee of the Shoreline Public Schools Foundation, I am excited to share our Spring fundraising campaign. Like many other school districts, Shoreline has a diverse community, but we have much work to do in improving the efforts, curriculum and opportunities for underserved students. believe that the foundation has an opportunity to affect these inequities by improving access and understanding in our community.
Past programs that have been impressive are ones like the SEED conference, funding the college essay training for rising seniors, supporting books and tools for our multilingual classrooms, and additional offerings for continued education for our teachers and staff. and I am looking forward to bigger ways to turn the tide.
I hope you'll join me this spring in contributing towards important learning opportunities and grants for the coming 2021-2022 school year. I contribute monthly - It's really easy, and makes a big difference!
