Mom was both the glue that held our family together and a visionary leader at the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation. She balanced board meetings with back-to-school nights, mentored colleagues while teaching my siblings and me right from wrong. She helped prepare our Thanksgiving meals, then turned around to launch Winterfest and the IBX River Rink on Black Friday. She created unforgettable New Year’s Eve fireworks shows for thousands of Philadelphians, even sneaking in our family’s favorite songs of the year into the soundtrack.
