Mom was the glue of our family and a force at the Delaware River Waterfront Corporation. She loved Philadelphia and made it a point to share that love with my siblings and me. She helped cook Thanksgiving dinner, then launched Winterfest and the IBX River Rink on Black Friday. Every New Year's Eve, she put on fireworks shows for thousands of Philadelphians. She even snuck our family's favorite songs of the year into the soundtrack. Her kindness, her strength and her instinct to care for others shaped who I am. That's why our family is raising money for the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation. Mom believed in this organization.
