Hello, and thank you for visiting my fundraiser page. I am once again participating and raising money for the Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation, in honor and remembrance of my mom, Jodie. A year without Mom. Even just writing that still feels both wrong and hard to believe. But if there's one thing that made this past year easier, it was without a doubt the love and support of those who showed up for my family and me in ways big and small. Mom would not have been surprised by that in the slightest, as it’s what she did best for those she touched. She always believed in the goodness of others, and the importance of being there to support one another. And as a team, we are grateful to keep seeing that through events such as this, as a reminder of her. Nowhere was that support more on display than at last year's Sandy Sprint, where Team Jodie truly was a powerful Phamily: over two dozen members strong, raising well over $25,000 for the Foundation in its fight to end ovarian cancer and support those currently battling this cruel disease. I know Mom would've beamed, not just by the numbers raised, but at the sight of all of us coming together, the way she always did, for the people who needed someone in their corner. It is this very strength Mom showed, to do right by and to be there for others, that those who can happily say knew my mom are left to carry forward. We are proud to have Sandy Rollman’s event as an opportunity to do so once again, where with every donation and contribution, we hope to not only continue Mom’s goals, but also preserve our cherished, lasting memory of her.
