Scales + Sledgehammers = Southern Smash: NYC. The National Alliance for Eating Disorders is thrilled to bring our unique and empowering scale smashing event to New York City on Saturday, September 17. We are thrilled to officially launch Dear Me, an affiliate of The Alliance, that provides education and support to help change the negative impact of diet culture and the incidence rates of eating disorders in middle and high schools across New York and nationwide.
Southern Smash: NYC is a free event! We hope that you will join us as we come together as a community to smash scales, participate in a variety of body liberating activities, and celebrate recovery!

Raise just $30 to receive an exclusive event t-shirt, $100 to receive a t-shirt and tote bag, and $150 to receive a t-shirt, tote bag and a "Little Words Project" bracelet. You can sign up to raise funds as an individual or as a team. Make sure to share with your family, friends and other supporters why raising awareness and funds for eating disorders services is so important to you! Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 individual fundraisers.
