Thank you so much for coming to my fundraising page! On Saturday, September 17 at 11AM, I will be participating in the National Alliance for Eating Disorders and Dear Me’s Southern Smash: NYC at PS6 (45 E 82nd St.). We will be coming together as a community to smash scales, participate in a variety of body liberating activities, and celebrate recovery!

For the past few years, I have been working to start Dear Me, with my Co-Directors, Clara Rohatyn and Aerin Atinsky. Dear Me, provides education and support to help change the negative impact of diet culture and the incidence rates of eating disorders in middle and high schools across New York and nationwide. We are so excited to have become an affiliate of The National Alliance for Eating Disorders! Over the past two decades, they have become the leading national nonprofit organization for eating disorder prevention and support. They are the only national nonprofit organization that provides free, weekly, therapist-led eating disorders support groups; referral services for all levels of care; low-cost therapeutic services for uninsured and underinsured individuals; and unique and empowering Southern Smash events. So, we are so excited to be commemorating our partnership and kicking off the school year with this event, Southern Smash: NYC! 
 
Proceeds from this event will directly fund education for the Dear Me program,. Your contribution will help us present at more schools nationwide, create more presentations, and tailor our program to each individual school.
