We are a very close family that has dealt with Hemophilia for decades. My father had severe Hemophilia A and died during the AIDS pandemic that claimed 1/2 of all hemophiliacs lives due to tainted blood. I am a symptomatic carrier who has dealt with bleeding issues my whole life. My son Hunter has severe Hemophilia A and is currently doing amazing! He is 26 years old and had to have 10 surgeries before he graduated high school. Those school years were very difficult for him and he has permenant damage from internal bleeding. However, we have come a long way and it is because of new and better factor medicine, advocating for better access to care and donations from people like you!
