Meet Destiny ???
Hi! My name is Destiny, and I am 6 years old. I have Down syndrome, but that is only one part of the amazing little girl I am!
I am creative, curious, loving, funny, determined, and full of personality. I love music, books, drawing, learning through hands-on activities, and spending time with the people I love. I have a BIG imagination, and I definitely know how to let you know what I want — with my words, my expressions, and sometimes just one look! ?
Team Fulfilling Destiny was created because we believe Destiny deserves exactly what every child deserves: the opportunity to learn, grow, make friends, dream big, be included, and reach her own individual potential.
Our family has learned that inclusion isn’t simply allowing someone into the room. It means making sure they truly belong there.
That is one of the reasons the Down Syndrome Association of Maryland is so important to our family. The programs, resources, advocacy, connections, and community available to individuals with Down syndrome and their families can make a lasting difference throughout their lives.
On October 24, 2026, Team Fulfilling Destiny will walk in the Baltimore Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk — and we would love for you to be part of our team!
