In a blink of an eye…..

You never know what life is going to throw at you . Help me raise money for research & support of CJD.

Help raise awareness & research dollars!

I got a call this morning from one of my dear Oklahoma friends Linda Miller - Newell. She’s coming to Dallas next weekend, not for the red river shoot out but for a fundraising walk for a rare, deadly, & horrible disease.

Creutzfeldt-Jakob-Jisease, (CJD)

As Linda told the story of her son-in-law’s 54 year old mother, it brought up memories. Anyone that has had a family member or a loved one with an incurable and terminal disease knows that feeling.

Please donate or join the walk in Arlington, this Saturday October 8th.
Help me raise money for research & support of CJD.

Thank you!!

About Strides for CJD

Strides for CJD is an annual walk/run to raise awareness of Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease (CJD), a rare neurodegenerative disease that has no treatment or cure. Through this event, anyone -- anywhere -- can pay tribute to their loved ones and raise funds for the CJD Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization.

Funds raised support our programs including:

  • Our 24/7 helpline, support groups, conference, and other family programs throughout the year.
  • Research grants to help scientists make important discoveries and bring us closer to a cure.
  • Medical education to help raise awareness and understanding of prion disease.
