Alejandro, Nandy or Alex, as I usually called him, was my father-in-law. But our relationship went beyond that title. He was my friend. Our many conversations over cigars and a nice scotch will stay with me as long as I live. Of all the things he taught me, he always stressed that family was more important than anything!
He was a tough, hard working man that busted his ass so that his family would want for nothing. This horrible disease known as CJD robbed Alex of what should have rightfully been his retirement years.
I’m raising money to fight against this terrible debilitating illness. Just as he would have done for me or any one of our team members. CJD is so rare that there is not much known about it. Therefore, there is no treatment or cure! Donations in any amount will help fund CJD research and hopefully put an end to the pain and suffering of others in the future!!!
