Furman University ADPi Fundraising Page

Alpha Delta Pi's national philanthropy is the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Ronald McDonald House Inc. provides a "home away from home" for the families of children undergoing medical treatment at hospitals nearby. Through this charity, families are given an opportunity to break away from the hospital environment, gain the support of other families experiencing similar events, and ease stress associated with their child's illness.

Our chapter is fortunate enough to have a Ronald McDonald House right down the road! We volunteer regularly through cooking meals and hosting fundraising events. In 2018 we donated $25,000 to Greenville RMH to build a "family room" for families to stay in.

Eta Phi knows how important it is to give back to the community and that is why many sisters are involved in other philanthropic events. Our sisters donated $1,000 to the Julie Valentine Center which provides free, confidential services to victims of sexual assault. We also participate yearly in Relay for Life for cancer research and Furman's Palathon to raise money for Greenville's Children's Hospital. Our chapter raised $6,022 in the Spring of 2019! Our sisters take active leadership roles in the effort to contribute to a larger cause, which is why our members dedicate hundreds of hours of volunteering outside of greek life.
