Hello Family and Friends!
It’s Swim 2026!! My 17th of participating in the Swim a Mile, a fundraiser for the Women’s Cancer Resource Center (WCRC).
Swim 2026 is another BIG one for the books. Tamara’s brother John joins our team, the Sonoma Splashers; he’ll be the first male to swim with the Sonoma Splashers in our 17 years! We’re excited to welcome him to our team!
And…drumroll…this year WCRC celebrates their 40th anniversary. For 40 years, WCRC has been a resource for local women and families navigating cancer, providing free services like practical support, connections to care, and a place to feel understood. These services make a real difference for over 900 East Bay cancer patients and survivors WCRC serves each year. With your generous support, I’m looking forward to helping them continue these vital services for (at least) another 40+ years.
Tamara and I plan to swim together, sharing a lane, on Saturday, May 9th at Mills College in Oakland. I’m swimming in her honor.
Cancer affects so many of our lives. WCRC ensures that no one has to navigate it alone, and I’m proud to support their work.
