I am a four year old TAAF survivor!

Dear friends, This Sunday the 27th, I’m joining our annual TAAF fundraiser for the my fourth year ! I found this community just before my brain surgery in 2022, after being diagnosed with an AVM after my scary stoke in January 2022. I was lucky to come through all of it, my wonderful TAAF community understand what life looks like on the other side. After a cancer diagnosis this year, this community means even more to me. I feel truly blessed and loved. The money we raise supports research into better ways to find and treat aneurysms and AVMs. Getting to hear from the scientists whose work we’ve helped fund is rather brilliant. We Are the Lighthouse Keepers

No one should have to navigate brain aneurysm, AVM, or stroke alone.

Every day, survivors, caregivers, clinicians, volunteers, donors, and supporters help others find their way through some of life's most difficult moments. TAAF calls these individuals Lighthouse Keepers.

This year, I'm walking to help keep that light burning for others.
