Keep going

Hi guys! If you didn’t know, I survived an AVM bleed 21½ years ago, and I’m so grateful to say that I have recovered beautifully! After my divorce, I went to college in San Francisco and earned my Associate of Arts degree, including eight semesters of English. I later got remarried, and now I have three wonderful kids who have each brought their own unique challenges and beautiful moments into my life. When I have free time, I stay active by going to HIIT classes, circuit training, and kickboxing every week. I truly believe that I continue to heal and grow stronger every day! Next Sunday, we are going to the TAAF Walk to remember those whose lives were lost and to celebrate those who have recovered and continue to fight. Thank you so much for your support and encouragement. I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I know I can keep pushing myself to reach even greater goals. ?❤️ Here’s to life, recovery, strength, and never giving up! ?✨

We Are the Lighthouse Keepers

No one should have to navigate brain aneurysm, AVM, or stroke alone.

Every day, survivors, caregivers, clinicians, volunteers, donors, and supporters help others find their way through some of life's most difficult moments. TAAF calls these individuals Lighthouse Keepers.

This year, I'm walking to help keep that light burning for others.

Your support helps provide:

  • Trusted education and resources
  • Connection to a caring community
  • Hope for patients and families
  • Research that advances treatment and care

Thank you for being part of the light. Your support means the world to me.
