I am so honored to be given the opportunity to run the 2026 TCS New York City Marathon on behalf of Junior Achievement of New York. Junior Achievement played a meaningful role in shaping my early interest in a career in business and accounting, especially during my time at JA Biztown, where I proudly took on the role of an accountant. Now, I am a CPA at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Birmingham, AL, and it's been especially rewarding to see that connection come full circle, as PwC is also a proud supporter of Junior Achievement. Each year, the Birmingham office raises money and participates in giving activities for our local JA chapter, and it's been so special to witness two areas of my life cross paths. I truly believe the Lord has entrusted me with this opportunity to run for an organization that has impacted so many young people, including me.
