Erika's Lighthouse is determined to make sure no young person feels alone in their depression. They are dedicated to creating a community of empathy and education. They create middle school and high school teen depression awareness programs so educators and teens can create safe spaces to learn about depression, letting students know they are never alone, and there is somewhere to turn. These programs are available free of charge, internationally!

In October 2023 I will be running the Chicago Marathon on behalf of Erika's Lighthouse. Along the way, I hope to rediscover the enjoyment I once had while running, which all but disappeared in 2020. Bonus: talking openly about mental health, mental illness and everything in between with friends, family and strangers :)
