Well, I'm at it again! Support me as I challenge myself to run the Chicago Marathon and represent Erika's Lighthouse this year, an organization dedicated to helping fight adolescent depression. You can read more about the program below & follow the link. More importantly, my reason for choosing to fundraise for Erika's Lighthouse is because of how close adolescent depression hits home. As a teen, I myself suffered from varying levels of depression. Never diagnosed but my years of experience & training in education have allowed me to recognize that. I was fortunate to have had enough support to get through but not all teens are as lucky. As we continue to recover from the pandemic & support the future of our communities. Please consider donating & help motivate me to continue my training!!

Erika's Lighthouse is determined to make sure no young person feels alone in their depression. We are dedicated to creating a community of empathy and education. We create middle school and high school teen depression awareness programs so educators and teens can create safe spaces to learn about depression, letting students know they are never alone, and there is somewhere to turn. EL's programs have directly reached more than 2 million teens in every state in the country.
