As many of you may know, I joined the Snow City Arts Auxiliary Board this year. This is the third time I am running the Hot Chocolate Race and the second time I am raising money for Snow City Arts.

Snow City Arts is an awesome non-profit organization that provides arts programming for children and youth in hospitals in the Chicagoland area. You can find out more about them at http://www.snowcityarts.org/.

Here are a few examples of what different dollar amounts can do for Snow City Arts. As you can see, every dollar can have a great impact!
$25 Can purchase a set of watercolor paints for use in a visual arts workshop
$50 Can purchase a case of Model Magic, a high quality, non-allergenic, sculpting
clay that is a staple of Snow City Arts workshops. We cannot keep enough of this stuff in
stock!
$100 Can purchase high quality sets of drawing pens and sketchbooks for 5 students
$250 can purchase a copy of Final Cut, a studio-quality music editing software
$500 can purchase an iPad used to bring filmmaking, music editing, and stop-motion
animation to a student’s bedside
$1,000 provides the visual arts supplies for an entire year at one of our hospitals!
