Being seriously ill means friends and school are replaced by machines and hospital. Snow City Arts uses the arts to springboard children in hospitals back towards their daily lives, and work to keep them as academically in-step with their healthy peers as possible.

Team Snow City Arts is running the Hot Chocolate 5k/15k and raising money as a group to help SCA continue their important work in hospitals.  Last year, we raised over $33,000 for SCA, and this year we are aiming to beat that fundraising total!

Again this year, I will be matching each dollar donated, up to $500, towards my goal before October 15th!  No donation is too small - every single dollar is appreciated and makes a difference. 

Here are a few examples of what different dollar amounts can do for Snow City Arts. As you can see, every dollar can have a great impact!

$25 Can purchase a set of watercolor paints for use in a visual arts workshop
$50 Can purchase a case of Model Magic, a high quality, non-allergenic, sculpting
clay that is a staple of Snow City Arts workshops. 
$100 Can purchase high quality sets of drawing pens and sketchbooks for 5 students
$250 can purchase a copy of Final Cut, a studio-quality music editing software
$500 can purchase an iPad used to bring filmmaking, music editing, and stop-motion
animation to a student’s bedside
$1,000 provides the visual arts supplies for an entire year at one of our hospitals!
