On November 5th of this year I'll be running the NYC Marathon to raise money for the Tisch MS Research Center of New York. MS is a disease that affects the central nervous system and can cause a variety of disabling symptoms. While there is currently no cure, organizations like Tisch MS are at the forefront of research to understand the cause of MS and to find a cure.
I specifically chose to run with Team Tisch MS as my father was diagnosed with the disease 5 years ago. Thanks to organizations like Tisch, he has been able to recieve treatment and continue to live an active lifestyle.
