240! At least! In two hours! But not for myself. At the 5th Annual Teaneck Packathon for Haiti on November 11, more than 700 volunteers will get together at Grace Lutheran Church in Teaneck to pack over 113,000 meals for kids in Haiti. There are over 500 students in the LIght and Peace Schools in Trois Mares and Chapottin whose families cannot feed them every day. I want to make sure those kids can at least count on lunch every weekday through 2018.
On average, every volunteer packs a whole box full --that's 240 lunches. That box contains $67 dollars worth of rice, beans, vegetables and vitamins. And that same box feeds a student all year. So my goal is to raise over $67 to actually finance the box I'll pack and even more. Will you help me?
