This is a great event for Teaneck , New Jersey. They are a huge-hearted, diverse town, and they LOVE to pack school lunches for those beautiful, sweet kids in Haiti. The 5th Annual Teaneck Packathon for Haiti on November 11, will see probably 800 volunteers will get together at Grace Lutheran Church in Teaneck to pack over 113,000 meals. Those meals will be sent to theLight and Peace Mission schools in Trois Mares and Chapottin where over 500 kids, whose families cannot feed them every day, will enjoy them every weekday through 2018.
On average, every volunteer packs a whole box full --that's 240 lunches. That box contains $67 dollars worth of rice, beans, vegetables and vitamins. And that same box feeds a student all year. My goal is to raise over $1000 to for tthis great event which helps so many. Will you help me?
