As the 40’s started to creep in, I realized the only way that I can stay motivated to run is to have a “race” or “goal” in the horizon. When a friend of ours approached me about joining him running grandma’s marathon in Duluth, I considered it. When he told me about the reason he’s running, I couldn’t say no. See, our friends, Jeff and Laura, lost their son, Isaiah, Feb. 2016 at the young age of seven. Isaiah, despite a heart condition and countless hospital stays and surgeries, fought for life and declared that his goal was to “run”. He was able to achieve that goal! So, when Jeff decided to set the same goal as Isaiah, I was thrilled to join them and help Jeff achieve this goal. Please consider supporting our run where all proceeds will go to benefit Children’s Hospitals who took great care of Isaiah and so many other children!
