On April 14th, I was induced due to gestational hypertension. Days after the birth of our daughter Ollie, I was readmitted to the ER Labor & Delivery for severe postpartum preeclampsia and given a 24 hour treatment of magnesium sulfate to prevent seizures. That treatment, along with knowing the signs of preeclampsia through the education of another survivor is how I knew something was wrong and what saved my life. I want to help educate others and bring more awareness and future research to eventually find a cure for preeclampsia.
