I've been honored to professionally work with a lot of teachers over the last decade and there are a few things I can share that are universal observations:

• Teachers work harder and get paid less than many professions
• Teachers tend to invest much of their own money to support their classroom needs (keep in mind, they don't get paid tons to begin with)
• I have seen great teachers leave the profession because they lacked support and resources

It's really that last point which has motivated me to sign Jazzy Kat Productions, llc up for the Missouri State Teachers Foundation's Support MO Teachers fundraiser.  I am asking all my friends and family to join me in donating to this awesome non-profit.  Your tax-deductible donation will go directly towards helping educators in Missouri be the best teachers they can be.

I would like you to give in honor of a teacher who made a difference in your life.  Personally, I'm giving in honor of Randy Jackson.  Mr. Jackson was my high school theater teacher.  He believed in me when I didn't believe in myself and was such a critical part of shaping the adult I am today.  I know that when I donated in his honor, I'm helping thousands of teachers just like him.
