This year, I’m participating in the Sky Movement in honor of Sheila Sky Kasselman, the founder of Sky Foundation. Sheila was a force—someone I worked closely with for six years—and continuing the mission she started means the world to me.

She believed that progress against pancreatic cancer would come from bold ideas, strong community, and people willing to take action. That’s exactly what the Sky Movement is about.

This year, I’m supporting the movement in two ways, and you’re invited to join me in either—or both!

✨ Attend the Sky Movement Kickoff Event

I will be attending the Sky Movement Kickoff Event at LegaSea Aquarium, where supporters will gather to launch this year’s movement together.

We’ll come together as a community, hear updates on pancreatic cancer research, and walk to Grant Park to raise awareness for this disease and the families it affects.

✨ Join Glow & Flow for a Cure

I’m also hosting a special charity yoga event called Glow & Flow for a Cure.

This will be a fun, welcoming yoga experience where participants will move, stretch, and glow in purple—the color of pancreatic cancer awareness—while raising funds for pancreatic cancer research.

Whether you're a seasoned yogi or brand new to yoga, this event is designed to bring people together in a positive and uplifting way while supporting an important cause.

Support the Mission

Both of these activities are part of my effort to help fund pancreatic cancer research through Sky Foundation’s seed grant program, which supports innovative scientific ideas focused on:

• Earlier detection
• New treatment approaches
• Breakthrough research that can lead to national funding

Our goal through the Sky Movement is to raise $50,000—enough to fund one full research seed grant.
