We recently accepted the challenge to participate in the Timmerman Traverse to support Damon Runyon cancer researchers who are brilliant, brave, and bold enough to go where others haven’t. Please join us as we raise funds for lifesaving research.
This adventure is not just about the thrill of climbing; it carries a noble cause too. We are joining forces with a group of 20 adventure enthusiasts to raise funding for Damon Runyon Cancer Research Foundation - one of the highest impact not for profit organizations in cancer research (4 out of 4 stars). It is an immense honor for us to be part of this remarkable team, which comprises skilled climbers and talented biotech professionals.
What makes this climb particularly meaningful to us is that Erika's mother and aunt are both breast cancer survivors. We have recently lost a good friend to cancer and have other friends actively fighting the battle. The need for cures is immense! We are extremely grateful to the commitment in research community for advancing cancer treatments and exited to join forces to further these efforts.
Together, we have pledged to collectively raise $1 million, with our personal commitment being to raise at least $100,000. To kickstart the effort, we have already made a personal contribution of $5,000 towards achieving this goal. We are hoping you will be part of this ambitious journey to Fight Cancer.
